I cant even begin to explain how brilliant this place is. The perfect hosts. Accommodating friendly helpful. Please stay here. Great location. The local pub is amazing if you dont like the steak there is something wrong with your mouth. Thank you for everything. Happy boy.
Karen and Simon have hand built this gorgeous shepherd's hut from scratch - and it is gorgeous. In its own tranquil private garden, it is quiet, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Small but perfectly formed, we had a wonderfully relaxing two night stay here. The bed is super comfortable and has wonderfully soft linen. Eggs, fresh bread, homemade cake, milk, juice and yogurt were provided too.We had one of the best meals of the year at the White Horse, just round the corner, and Karen and Simon had loads more great recommendations for the immediate area and beyond. They were super friendly and welcoming and we immediately felt at home.Highly recommended.

Just left Esme's Escape after a fantastic 3 night stay. The hut had everything we needed and the outdoor seating and table made breakfast in the sun the perfect way to end our stay!Karen and Simon have thought of everything to make the hut as homely as possible. Makes a great base for exploring Somerset and Dorset. We can't wait to return!
