Thanks for the fast response to my broken down car on the A303 last Tuesday. Friendly recovery driver clearly explained what was happening and then got us and the car to a garage in Taunton making sure that we would be able to get home easily if the car could not be fixed straight away. Comical (Grumpy) recovery driver. Double parked and pushed my car up onto a flat bed recovery vehicle all on his own, on a sharp bend. Company should have had two people there. I called RAC at 4.15 Rivermeade told me they were called at 5.30 by RAC, Rivermeade couldn't fix the car, needed another recovery vehicle got home at 8.30...I only live 10 minutes up the road!
Due to a clutch failure my car and caravan needed to be recovered from West Bay to Banbury. I had never had this experience before in 50 plus years of motoring, and I was well stressed about it. Well I needn't have been, the whole experience was great, Phil the driver put me completely at ease, nothing was too much trouble, both car and caravan delivered safely to different locations.I would like to thank Phil for his care and companionship on the drive home, we chatted all the way, I felt like I had been with an old friend.
Just collected my VW Passat from Rivermead again, she may be on her last legs but the guys have patched her up and she'll carry on for a little longer. All of the staff here are very friendly, polite and do a great job, I've used them twice for breakdown pick up too and again - great service. I would highly recommend this garage. Thank you!
